Photography

Next to painting I enjoy taking photographs, in particular while travelling, which sometimes serve as reference pictures for my paintings. I love bird watching, and I can spend hours in a beautiful garden or at a garden pond mesmerized by the beauty of lotus flowers, water lilies, kois and the interplay of their reflections and colours. Recently, I also discovered the philosophy of Wabi Sabi. Taking pictures in this spirit is an eye opener.
